♥ در این مقاله که بخش دوّم آن می باشد، قصد داریم تا درباره ادامه ساختار زمان حال کامل یا همان present perfect صحبت کنیم و نکات بیشتری را نسبت به جلسه قبل یعنی [درس 7] پوشش دهیم. به مکالمه زیر توجه کنید؛
• Dave: Have you travelled a lot, Jane?
• Jane: Yes, I‘ve been to lots of place.
• Dave: Really? Have you ever been to China?
• Jane: Yes, I‘ve been to China twice.
• Dave: What about India?
• Jane: No, I haven’t been to India.
ترجمه:
- دیو: جِین، آیا تو زیاد سفر کرده ای؟
- جِین: بله، من جاهای زیادی سفر کرده ام.
- دِیو: واقعا؟! آیا تا به حال کشور چین هم رفته ای؟
- جِین: بله، من تا به حال دوبار به کشور چین سفر کرده ام.
- دِیو: کشور هند چطور؟
- جِین: نه، من به کشور هند سفر نکرده ام.
1) When we talk about a period of time that continues from the past until now, we use the present perfect (have travelled / has been etc.).
ترجمه: زمانی که ما در باره یک بازه زمانی که از گذشته شروع شده و تا زمان حال ادامه یافته است، صحبت می کنیم، از حال کامل ساده [درس7] استفاده می کنیم. به مثال های زیر توجه کنید:
2) Have you ever eaten caviar ?
ترجمه و توضیح: آیا تا به حال ماهی خاویار خورده ای؟ [در واقع از گذشته تا الان یکبار ماهی خاویار خوردی؟]
3) We‘ve (We have) never had a car.
ترجمه و توضیح: ما هیچوقت ماشین نداشته ایم. [ در واقع از گذشته تا الان هیچ ماشینی نداشتیم.]
4) I don’t know what the film is about. I haven’t (have not) seen it.
ترجمه و توضیح: من نمیدونم فیلمش درباره چی هست. من اون (فیلم) ندیده ام.
5) Susan really loves that book. She‘s (She has) read it three times.
ترجمه و توضیح: سوزان اون کتاب را واقعا دوست دارد. او آن کتاب را سه بار خوانده است.
6) It’s a really boring movie. It’s the most boring movie I have ever seen.
ترجمه و توضیح: این یک فیلم واقعا کسل کننده است. اون (فیلم) کسل کننده ترین فیلمی است که من تا به حال دیده ام.
واژه “been (to)” به معنای رفتن در زمان گذشته می باشد.
7) I’ve never been to Canada. Have you ever been there?
ترجمه: من هیچوقت به کاناده نرفته ام. آیا تا به حال اونجا رفته ای؟
در مثال های زیر نیز، درباره یک بازه زمانی که از گذشته شروع شده و تا زمان حال ادامه یافته است صحبت می شود. و در این مثال ها از recently، in the last few days، so far، since I arrived برای نشان دادن ادامه یافتن تا زمان حال استفاده شده است.
• recently = اخیراً
• in the last few days = در چند روز گذشته
• so far = تا به حال
• since I arrived = از زمانی که من رسیدم
• for a long time = برای مدت زیادی
8) Have you heard anything from Ben recently?
9) I‘ve met a lot of people in the last few days.
10) Everything is going well. There haven’t been any problems so far.
11) The weather is bad here. It has rained everyday since I arrived.
12) It’s good to see you again. We haven’t seen each other for a long time.
به همین ترتیب، ما از حال کامل ساده با قید های زمانی مانند today، this evening، this year، به شرط آن که این قیود زمانی در لحظه ای که از آن ها استفاده می کنیم به پایان نرسیده باشند. به مثال های زیر توجه کنید:
13) I‘ve drunk for cups of coffee today.
ترجمه و توضیح: من امروز چهار فنجان قهوه خورده ام. ( امروز هنوز تمام نشده مثلا تا ساعت 4 بعد از ظهر این تعداد را نوشیده است)
14) Have you had a holiday this year?
ترجمه و توضیح: آیا تو امسال تعطلات داشتی؟ ( هنوز امسال تمام نشده مثلا 5 ماه از 12 ماه سپری شده است)
15) I haven’t seen Tom this morning. Have you?
ترجمه و توضیح: من امروز تام را ندیده ام. آیا تو دیدیش؟ ( توضیح …. ؟)
وقتی می گوییم چیزی برای اولین بار اتفاق افتاده است، از حال کامل ساده استفاده میکنیم. به مثال های زیر را در نظر بگیرید.
• Don is having a driving lesson. it’s his first lesson.
ترجمه: دان در حال گذراندن جلسه آموزش رانندگی است. این اولین جلسه او می باشد.
16) It’s the first time he has driven a car ( not he drives a car)
17) he hasn’t driven a car before.
18) he has never driven a car before.

8.1) You ask people about things they have done. Write questions with ever.
1. (ride / horse) Have you ever ridden a horse?
2. (be / California) Have you ever been to California?
3. (run / marathon) Have you ever run a marathon?
4. (speak / famous person) Have you ever spoken to a famous person?
5. (most beautiful place / visit) What is the most beautiful place you have ever visited?
8.2) Complete B’s answers. Some sentences are positive and some are negative. Use these verbs.

B: Yes, It’s the best holiday I‘ve had for a long time.
A: What’s that book about?
B: I don’t know. I haven’t read it.
A: Is Brussels an interesting place?
B: I’ve no idea. I haven’t been there.
A: I hear your car broke down again yesterday.
B: yes. It’s the second time it has happened this month.
A: Do you like caviar?
B: I don’t know. I haven’t tried it before.
A: Mike was late for work again today.
B: Again? He has been late every day this week.
A: Who’s that woman by the door?
B: I don’t know. I haven’t seen her before.
8.3) Write four sentences about yourself. Use I haven’t and choose from the boxes.

8.4) Read the situations and complete the sentences.
1. Jack is driving a car for the first time. He’s very nervous and not sure what to do.
• It’s the first time he has driven a car.
2. Some children at the zoo are looking at giraffe. They’ve never seen one before.
• It’s the first time they have seen a giraffe.
3. Sue is riding a horse. She doesn’t look very confident or comfortable.
• She has never ridden a horse before.
4. Joe and Lisa are on holiday in Japan. They have been to Japan once before.
• This is the second time They have been to Japan.
5. Emily is staying at the Prince Hotel. She stayed there a few years ago.
• It’s not the first time she has stayed at the Prince Hotel.
6. Ben is playing tennis for the first time. He’s a complete beginner.
• He hasn’t played tennis before.
